Holiday in Caloocan today

MANILA, Philippines — Caloocan Mayor Along Malapitan has declared Feb. 16 a special non-working holiday to mark the city’s 61st founding anniversary.

Malapitan urged residents to “participate in various activities re-living the historic legacy of our city.”

“It is but fitting and proper to give the people of Caloocan an opportunity to participate in the festivities prepared by the city government,” Malapitan said.
