Manila offers free ECG

MANILA, Philippines — Manila Mayor Honey Lacuna yesterday urged city hall employees to avail themselves of free electrocardiogram (ECG) services starting today, Valentine’s Day.

Lacuna said employees aged 40 above and those with comorbidities may get free ECG test until Feb. 17.

“This is our way of helping employees ensure that they have a healthy heart not just romantically, but also physically,” she said.

The clinic will accommodate 100 employees per day, city hall said.

Lacuna also urged residents to visit the “MayniLOVE” display at the Mehan Garden and support local businesses there.
