MANILA, Philippines — Police seized 2.05 kilos of shabu with an estimated street value of P13.94 million in Marilao, Bulacan on Wednesday.
The illegal drugs were confiscated from Marlon Palmario, 44, a resident of Caloocan City who was arrested in Barangay Loma de Gato, Bulacan police director Col. Relly Arnedo said.
Palmario reportedly negotiated a deal with a policeman who posed as a buyer of shabu in exchange for P67,000.
Meanwhile, marijuana plants valued at P2.52 million were uprooted and destroyed in Bakun, Benguet on Tuesday, the Philippine National Police Drug Enforcement Group (PDEG) re-ported yesterday.
PDEG director Brig. Gen. Narciso Domingo said the illegal drugs were discovered at a plantation site in Barangay Kayapa at around 10 a.m.
