Architect found dead in car

CAMP VICENTE LIM, Laguna, Philippines — A man was found dead in his car in Silang, Cavite over the weekend.

Christian Sidlacan, an architect, died from a gunshot to the head, according to Lt Col. Romulo dela Rea, Silang police chief.

Earlier reports said the victim was killed in an ambush on his way to work.

Dela Rea said investigation showed Sidlacan was shot dead by his companion in the car.

Probers recovered a bullet shell for a .45 caliber pistol at the scene of the incident that occurred in Barangay Malabag.

“It was possible that Sidlacan picked up the suspect on his way to the project site,” Dela Rea said. He said probers have yet to establish if the killing was job-related.
