9 Albay mayors join Lakas-CMD
MANILA, Philippines — Nine of the 15 mayors in Albay have joined the ruling Lakas-CMD.
Mayors Adrian Salceda of Polangui, Paul Garcia of Guinobatan, Wilfredo Maronilla of Libon, Sharon Escoto of Oas, Alan Arandia of Pio Duran and Carlos Irwin Baldo Jr. of Camalig were among those who took their oath before party president and Speaker Martin Romualdez recently.
Mayors Carlwyn Baldo of Daraga, Dick Galicia of Rapu Rapu and Joseling Aguas of Sto. Domingo are the other new Lakas-CMD recruits.
Provincial board members Jesus Salceda Jr., Juan Miguel Salceda, Dante Arandia, Victor Ziga Jr., Melissa Abadeza, Eva Ribaya, Reynaldo Bragais and Glenda Bongao also joined the ruling party along with several city and municipal councilors.
