Janitor accused of raping student, 14

CAMP VICENTE LIM, Laguna, Philippines — Police launched a manhunt yesterday for a janitor who allegedly raped a 14-year-old girl in the toilet of a school in Lucena City in Quezon on Oct. 12.

The grandmother of the victim went to the police station on Monday to report the incident.

Lt. Col. Reynaldo Reyes, Lucena police chief, said Marvin Inojosa, 38, was charged with rape before the city prosecutor’s office.

The victim told police she saw the suspect cleaning the toilet when she entered. She said the suspect grabbed her hand as she was about to leave, then locked the door and raped her.
