2 kids die in Quezon town fire

MANILA, Philippines — Two boys, aged four and one, died in a fire that razed their house in Plaridel, Quezon on Thursday.

The house, which was made of light materials, was destroyed before firefighters arrived in Barangay Tanauan.

Arson probers said the fire broke out at around 6:30 p.m.

The mother of the victims told police she left her sons to pick up vegetables at around 4:20 p.m.

Probers have yet to determine the cause of the fire.
