Cagayan bettor wins P67.6 million lotto jackpot

MANILA, Philippines — A bettor in Lallo, Cagayan won the jackpot in the 6/49 Super Lotto drawn on Thursday night.

Melquiades Robles, Philippine Charity Sweepstakes Office general manager and vice chairman of the board, said the lotto player hit the winning combination 23-03-02-43-30-07, which had a total jackpot of P67,672,225.

Twenty-nine other bettors, who guessed five of the winning numbers, won P50,000 each.

The Tax Reform for Acceleration and Inclusion or TRAIN Law imposes a tax of 20 percent on lotto winnings worth P10,000 and above.

The 6/49 Super Lotto is drawn every Tuesday, Thursday and Sunday.
