SC accredits 28 new construction arbitrators
MANILA, Philippines — Twenty-eight newly accredited construction arbitrators, who will facilitate the speedy resolution of construction disputes in court, took their oath before Chief Justice Alexander Gesmundo on Tuesday.
The Supreme Court said the arbitrators are from the Construction Industry Arbitration Commission (CIAC).
The CIAC was established in 1985 to ensure the expeditious settlement of construction disputes to provide stability to enterprises and avoid bureaucratic delays.
