Rizal policewoman loses gun, money to robbers

MANILA, Philippines — A policewoman lost her service firearm, money and other personal belongings to a robber in Taytay, Rizal on Tuesday.

Pat. Merjorie Talamor said she lost her 9mm handgun, P8,000 in cash, identification cards and ATM card when her vehicle, which she parked beside Camp Geronimo in Barangay Dolores at around 6 a.m., was ransacked.

She said she discovered that her bag was missing when she returned 40 minutes after she underwent a physical fitness test.

Police are looking for leads to determine the identity of the suspect.
