Ilocos state university ready for in-person classes

Eva Visperas - The Philippine Star

DAGUPAN CITY, Philippines — The North Luzon Philippines State College in Candon City, Ilocos Sur will resume its limited face-to-face classes in all programs for the second semester of this school year.

School administrators said more than 300 students taking different programs participated in the dry run for in-person classes that will commence in March.

“Although students’ participation during the first day of the dry run may not be satisfactory, this reopening of the campus for the limited face-to-face classes is a major accomplishment of the college during this pandemic,” the school said.

The dry run was attended by Danilo Bose, officer-in-charge of the provincial office of the Commission on Higher Education, representatives of the Department of the Interior and local Government, and city health officials
