Fire razes textile building in Divisoria

MANILA, Philippines — At least P5 million worth of property was destroyed after a fire struck a commercial building in Divisoria, Manila before dawn yesterday.
The fire reached second alarm and razed the building along Ylaya street, according to the Bureau of Fire Protection (BFP).
The building, owned by Golden Ox Inc., houses stalls selling textile and clothes.
The BFP said the fire was contained at past 5 a.m.
Arson investigators said they have yet to determine what caused the fire.
No one was injured in the incident.
