MANILA, Philippines — Manila Mayor Isko Moreno yesterday allowed city government employees to leave work early in observance of the first day of the 29th National Family Week.

Moreno suspended work at city hall at 3:30 p.m. yesterday.

Malacañang has issued Memorandum Circular 90 pursuant to Proclamation 60 signed in 1992, which declares every last week of September as Family Week.

Moreno, however, ordered the continuous operation of the city health department, Manila Disaster Risk Reduction Management Office, local social welfare department and other offices whose functions involved basic and health services.
