Manila aids relocated families

MANILA, Philippines — The Manila city government has delivered food packs to over 1,000 families relocated to Trece Martires in Cavite.

Mayor Isko Moreno yesterday said 1,095 families were given food boxes under the food subsidy program of the local government.

These families were among those who were relocated from Parola, Binondo to Trece Martires.

Meanwhile, Moreno said 348,272 families or 91 percent of the total beneficiaries have received P4,000 lockdown assistance from the national government as of Saturday.

He said 4,768 people with disabilities and 2,757 solo parents have also received cash assistance.
