3 Chinese spray, rob victim

MANILA, Philippines —  Three Chinese men were arrested in Parañaque City on Tuesday night after they allegedly used pepper spray on a female compatriot and robbed her of P2 million.

A spot report from the Southern Police District said Whang Chao, Tang Neng and Qiu Long Qing were talking to Zhang Huai Zhen when one of the suspects used pepper spray on Zhang’s eyes. The report did not state why Zhang was carrying the money.

Zhang reported the robbery to police officers in Barangay Moonwalk. They arrested the suspects and recovered the money.

Aside from the money, three guns, ammunition and a can of pepper spray were confiscated from the suspects, the SPD said.
