Emmanuel Tupas - The Philippine Star

MANILA, Philippines — A 41-year-old woman who allegedly offered her daughters to online sex predators was arrested in Pampanga on Tuesday, the International Justice Mission (IJM) reported yesterday.

The suspect was arrested during an entrapment launched by personnel of the Women and Children Protection Center in Mabalacat town.

The victims aged, 14, 16, and 17 were rescued.

“They were subjected to rapid testing to rule out infection from the coronavirus disease 2019 and are now receiving proper trauma-informed interventions,” the IJM said in a statement.

The suspect was charged with human trafficking, child abuse and violation of Republic Act 10175 or the Anti-Cybercrime Crime Prevention Act and RA 9775 or the Anti-Child Pornography Act.
