Foreigner destroys quarantine equipment

KIDAPAWAN CITY, Philippines — A foreigner went amuck and destroyed P30,000 worth of equipment at an isolation facility for coronavirus disease or COVID-19 cases in this city on Sunday.

Gonzales de Langarica Moriño of Barcelona, Spain calmed down after he was told by health workers that a police team would arrive to arrest him.

Charges will be filed against Moriño, according to Lt. Col. Rammel Hojilla, city police chief.

Reports said Moriño has been under quarantine since last week.
