P10.2 million shabu seized in Laguna

LAGUNA, Philippines — More than P10 million worth of shabu was seized in stings in Laguna on Friday.

Philippine Drug Enforcement Agency spokesman Derrick Carreon said Irene Erdan, 36; Joel Perez, 33; Israel Fuguso, 28, and Michael Mendoza, 38, yielded 500 grams of shabu with an estimated street value of P3.4 million in Biñan City.

Carreon said the suspects were arrested along the South Luzon Expressway in Barangay Sto. Tomas at around 7 p.m.

In Calamba City, Sadam Moseb and Norhassan Racman were apprehended in a parking lot of a shopping mall in Barangay Parian.

Police said a kilo of shabu worth P6.8 million was recovered from the suspects.
