Rhodina Villanueva - The Philippine Star

MANILA, Philippines — The northeast monsoon is affecting Northern Luzon, the Philippine Atmospheric, Geophysical and Astronomical Services Administration (PAGASA) said yesterday.

“Batanes and Cagayan, including Babuyan Group of Islands, will have cloudy skies with light rains due to the northeast monsoon,” PAGASA said in its bulletin.

The northeast monsoon will also affect Ilocos, the Cordillera Administrative Region and the rest of Cagayan Valley as it will bring partly cloudy to cloudy skies with isolated light rains.

Metro Manila and the rest of the country will experience partly cloudy to cloudy skies with isolated rains because of localized thunderstorms.

Coastal waters in the northern section of Northern Luzon will be rough.

It will be moderate to rough in the rest of the country.
