BUTUAN CITY, Philippines  – A branch manager of Kapa Community Ministry International who was reported missing in General Santos City on Wednesday last week was found in Tupi, South Cotabato yesterday.

Remely Iral, 42, of KAPA’s office in Alabel, Sarangani, was found handcuffed and bloodied while asking for help from a resident in Purok Bagong Silang, Barangay Kablon.

Iral was brought to a hospital where he is now in stable condition.

The victim told police he was stabbed several times and left for dead by unidentified men in a pineapple plantation.

A piece of  cardboard threatening KAPA officials was recovered in the plantation.

Iral is said to be a nephew of the wife of KAPA founder Joel Apolinario. He was reportedly kidnapped after his pickup was waylaid in Barangay San Isidro that left his driver dead.

KAPA was tagged in one of the biggest investment scams in the country in recent years. Criminal complaints were filed against its officials last year.
