Car trader found dead in Cavite

CAMP VICENTE LIM, Laguna, Philippines –  A car dealer who was reportedly snatched by two men in Imus City, Cavite on Tuesday was found dead yesterday.

The body of Manuel Tolentino, which was recovered in Barangay San Rafael at around 7 a.m., bore gunshot wounds, police said. The victim was handcuffed and covered with a blanket.

Two men who introduced themselves as police officers reportedly seized Tolentino and commandeered his Toyota Hilux.

Tolentino’s relatives sought the help of netizens to find the victim. He was reportedly last seen with two persons who wanted to test drive a car they intend to buy.

Mahdie Manhotara, alias Justine, and Edgardo del Rosario were arrested after the victim’s pickup was found abandoned in Noveleta.
