TUGUEGARAO CITY, Cagayan, Philippines — A former municipal auditor in Aritao, Nueva Vizcaya was arrested in Barangay Quirino in Solano town yesterday for indiscriminate firing.
Alvin Edrinal, 39, fired his 9 mm pistol in front of his house at around 2:30 a.m., according to a report received by Maj. Ferdinand Laudencia, Solano police chief.
Laudencia said Edrinal, who was reportedly drunk, also shot responding police officers.
The suspect surrendered upon the intercession of his partner.
