9 Chinese women rescued from sex ring

CAMP OLIVAS, Pampanga , Philippines — Nine Chinese women were rescued from an alleged prostitution ring during an entrapment operation in Mabalacat City in this provice before dawn yesterday.

Brig. Gen. Rhodel Sermonia, acting director of the Police Regional Office 3, said three Chinese who allegedly served as pimps were arrested in the operation.

The suspects were Wang Xiankai, 37; Fan Jianwu, 42, and Huang Ming.

The victims were paid P6,000 each in exchange for their sexual services, police said.

Probers said they recovered from the suspects boxes of condoms, a Toyota Vios and the marked money.

The victims will be turned over to the Bureau of Immigration, police said
