MANILA, Philippines — At least five people were arrested for illegal drugs in Quezon City and Pasig since Friday.
Roban Valenzuela, 43, allegedly the most wanted drug pusher in Novaliches, Quezon City was arrested in a sting at around 1 a.m. yesterday.
He was caught with 10 grams of methamphetamine hydrochloride or shabu with a street value of P68,000, said acting Quezon City Police District director Col. Ronnie Montejo.
Police officers also seized a shotgun and 10 bullets from Valenzuela’s possession.
In Pasig City, four people, including a 17-year-old boy, were arrested in a drug bust in Barangay Pineda at around 10:30 p.m. on Friday.
The minor is a student at Kapitolyo High School, according to a report from the Eastern Police District.
The boy was turned over to the city’s social welfare officers while the other suspects – Archie de Leon, 39; Rogie delos Santos, 33; and Freddie Santos, 42 – were charged with possession and sale of illegal drugs.
An undetermined quantity of shabu and P500 in cash were confiscated from them.
