NCRPO’s most wanted falls

MANILA, Philippines — The alleged leader of a robbery gang, tagged as the No. 1 most wanted person in Metro Manila, was arrested in Tarlac over the weekend.
Art Cris Viloria, alias Kuwatog, 24, was collared by operatives of the Eastern Police District and Tarlac police in Barangay San Vicente, Tarlac City, according to EPD director Brig. Gen. Johnson Almazan.
Viloria is said to be the leader of a criminal group that operates in Marikina City and nearby areas.
The suspect was nabbed based on a warrant for possession of illegal drugs issued by Judge Edwin Valdez of the Marikina City Regional Trial Court (RTC) Branch 7.
Viloria also has pending arrest warrants for usurpation of authority issued by Judge Maria Cecilia Ty Padua of the Marikina Metropolitan Trial Court and for robbery issued by Judge Dennis Tolentino of the Marikina RTC Branch 193.
Almazan said an informant led policemen to Viloria, resulting in the suspect’s arrest.
Col. Restituto Arcanghel, Marikina police chief, said the neutralization of Viloria would lessen the cases of robbery and drugs in the city.
