CAMP VICENTE LIM, , Philippines — Four unidentified men hijacked a truck loaded with more than 2,000 live chickens worth P.4 million in Padre Garcia, Quezon province over the weekend.

Driver Mabini Escobar and his helpers, Jayson Zeta and Rosendo Fuentes, told police they were on their way to Lipa City in Batangas when the suspects flagged them down in Barangay Quilo-Quilo North.

At gunpoint, the suspects reportedly ordered Escobar and his companions to get off the truck.

Escobar said the suspects fled on board his truck toward Rosario town in Batangas.
