MANILA, Philippines (Update 3, 11:23 a.m.) — A number of local government units declared class suspension for Saturday due to the inclement weather enhanced by the southwest monsoon or habagat and Severe Tropical Storm Ineng.

In its 8 a.m. weather advisory, PAGASA said that at around 7 a.m., "Ineng" (International name Bailu) was located at 105 kilometers north of Basco, Batanes. 

It packs maximum sustained winds of 100 kilometers per hour near the center and gustiness of up to 125 kph. "Ineng" is moving west northwest at 30 kph.

  • Makati City (all levels, public and private)

Region I

  • Ilocos Norte
    • Batac City (all levels, public and private)
    • Laoag City (all levels, public and private)
  • La Union
    • San Fernando (all levels, public and private)

Cordillera Administrative Region

  • Benguet
    • La Trinidad (pre-school to senior high school, public and private)
