MANILA, Philippines — An official of the National Intelligence Coordinating Agency (NICA) wanted for grave threat was arrested in Quezon City yesterday.
Marvin Espino, 41, officer-in-charge at the message center branch of NICA, was served a warrant of arrest at his office at around 10 a.m., said Brig. Gen. Joselito Esquivel Jr., Quezon City Police District director.
The warrant was issued by Quezon City Metropolitan Trial Court Branch 40 Assisting Judge Jeland Omer Pormentilla, who set bail at P2,000.
Police did not reveal details surrounding Espino’s case.
