PDEA seizes P1.4-M ecstasy tablets

MANILA, Philippines — The Philippine Drug Enforcement Agency (PDEA) confiscated P1.4 million worth of ecstasy tablets in a sting in Quezon City yesterday morning.

Arnold Immanuel Rafanan Dy, 22, yielded 465 tablets of ecstasy when he was arrested at a convenience store in Barangay Bagumbayan at around 9 a.m. 

The operation to arrest Immanuel was an offshoot of another sting that led to the arrest of three suspects at a bar in Bonifacio Global City, Taguig before dawn yesterday.

Ma. Regina Go, Andrei Leoncio and Louse Ann Sumydivila were apprehended in front of the Xylo Bar along 9th Avenue at around 3:45 a.m.

Four ecstasy tablets with a street value of P6,800 were seized from them.
