IBA, Zambales, Philippines — Two college students drowned on a beach in this town amid heavy rains on Tuesday.
Marisol Yeke, 21, and Alison Testimio, 20, were swimming with their friends in Barangay Lipay-Dingin when they were swept away by the strong current.
Yeke was pronounced dead on arrival at the President Ramon Magsaysay Memorial Hospital. Testimio’s body was recovered on Wednesday.
