2 cops held for firing guns

CAMP OLIVAS, Pampanga, Philippines — Two police officers were arrested for allegedly firing their guns in Cabanatuan City, Nueva Ecija on Friday.

Patrolmen Daniel Babylonia, 25, of Cuyapo, and Fernand de Guzman, 32, of Talavera were arrested on charges of alarm and scandal in violation of Republic Act 10591, according to Col. Rhoderick Armamento, deputy director for operation of the Central Luzon police.

They were arrested by Patrolmen  Ernesto Alegre Jr. and Arjay Resma in Barangay Sangitan East.

Probers said a .40 caliber pistol was seized from Babylonia.
