MANILA, Philippines — Two persons were arrested in an entrapment operation in Pasay City Thursday for allegedly performing breast and cheek augmentation procedures on a woman using silicone oil in 2015.
Trans woman Crisanto Ordono, 34, and her boyfriend Adrian Gobrin, 21, were caught in a motel room on EDSA at around 3 p.m.
The complainant, a 37-year-old businesswoman, said Ordono introduced herself as a doctor and performed the procedures – for which she paid him P150,000 – in 2015, police said.
The complainant said she suffered from itchiness, redness and blood clots in her cheeks and breasts years after the procedure.
She later found out that Ordono was not registered as a physician with the Professional Regulation Commission.
Recovered from the suspects were P2,000 marked money, several syringes and bottles of anesthesia and silicone oil.
They face charges of estafa and medical malpractice, police said.
