MANILA, Philippines — Makati City was granted yesterday the Seal of Good Financial Housekeeping by the Department of the Interior and Local Government (DILG).
Mayor Abby Binay said the DILG’s certification validated the local government’s efforts in ensuring transparency in spending public funds.
Binay said Makati is a step closer to its bid of winning the Seal of Good Local Governance award for 2018.
