2 die in Luzon road mishaps

TUGUEGARAO, Philippines — Two persons died in separate vehicular accidents in Cagayan and Isabela on Friday.

Ronald Rosario, 54, was traveling in Quezon town, Isabela when his motorcycle collided with a van at around 11 p.m.

Rosario was declared dead on arrival at the Quezon Community Hospital.

Van driver Paul Madella was taken to the police station for questioning.

Meanwhile, in Cagayan, Alexander Gacias, 57, was declared dead on arrival in a hospital following a smashup in Piat town.

Reports said that Gacias’ was traveling in  Barangay Maguiling when his motorcycle rearended a tricycle driven by Segundo Ramos Jr.

Ramos lost control of the tricycle, causing it to hit a motorcycle driven by Marvin Agamata.
