MANILA, Philippines — Former special assistant to the president Christopher “Bong” Go joined a gift-giving activity initiated by Quezon City Vice Mayor Joy Belmonte over the weekend.
Go and Belmonte distributed Christmas goodies to the residents.
He also lauded Fourth District Rep. Feliciano “Sonny” Belmonte Jr. for his dedication to public service.
“Pare-pareho naman ang aming layunin, kung mayroon siyang ‘serbisyo ng bayan,’ ako po ang bisyo ko ay mag-serbisyo,” Go said.
During the event, Go announced the opening of Malasakit Centers at the Novaliches District Hospital and Lung Center of the Philippines early next year to provide medical assistance to the public.
Go also took part in a gift-giving event spearheaded by a women’s group in Mandaluyong City.
The activity was led by the Kababaihang-Kakaiba ng Mandaluyong (KKM), a socio-civic organization that helps promote the welfare of women through livelihood projects and healthcare assistance.
Go was welcomed by Mayor Menchie Abalos, former Commission on Elections chairman Benjamin Abalos, KKM president Cora Abalos and Councilor Charisse Marie Abalos-Vargas.
