NORTH COTABATO, Philippines — Two persons were wounded in a grenade explosion in Carmen in this province on Sunday night.
Superintendent Aldrin Gonzalez, Soccsksargen police spokesman, said Jaybee Gatila, 22, and Mariel Referente, 17, were eating at a store along the road in Barangay Poblacion when motorcycle-riding men lobbed a grenade.
The victims were taken to the Carmen Municipal Hospital for treatment.
