MANILA, Philippines — A body of a still unidentified man was retrieved from the Pasig River in Makati City Sunday morning.
The man was described as between 40 and 45 years old, around 5’6” tall and of medium build. He was clad in violet basketball shorts bearing the number 13 and a black sleeveless shirt, according to the Southern Police District (SPD).
His body was found in the part of the river near Dagohoy street in Barangay West Rembo at around 6 a.m.
Police recovered from the body a card from a supermarket with the name Gemmy Casimiro written on it, the SPD said.
Police are coordinating with the supermarket to identify the man.
