MRT-3 unloads 850 commuters
July 4, 2018 | 12:00am
MANILA, Philippines — A southbound train of the Metro Rail Transit Line-3 (MRT-3) unloaded around 850 commuters due to an electrical failure during yesterday morning’s rush hour.
The MRT-3 said the passengers were transferred to the next train upon reaching the Guadalupe station in Makati.
The management said the glitch was caused by worn-out electrical sub-components such as main chopper, regulator and insulator.
The affected train was pulled out and repaired at the MRT-3 depot in Makati.
