Alleged drug pusher from Tondo slain in Valenzuela
MANILA, Philippines — A suspected drug pusher from Tondo, Manila was killed by police in a sting in Valenzuela City on Tuesday night.
The suspect, known only as Golem, allegedly yielded 20 sachets of shabu and a .38-caliber handgun.
Golem’s cohort, Ranny Manalastas, was nabbed by police.
In Caloocan, four alleged drug dealers were apprehended in an anti-narcotics operation in Barangay 73.
Police said they recovered 100 grams of shabu worth P700,000 from Ivy de Luna, Eligio Ramos, Erwin Panganiban and Danica Dionisio.
Superintendent Ferdinand del Rosario, Caloocan police deputy chief for administration, said another drug suspect, Jerome Gaje, was nabbed in a follow-up operation in Pasay.
Gaje was tagged by De Luna as the source of illegal drugs.
Police said they confiscated 150 grams of shabu worth P1.4 million from Gaje.
In Quezon City, eight drug suspects were arrested in separate operations.
They were Daniel Acleto, 29; Jomar Sabdilion, 21; Erham Bohoh, 21; Hamar Bunayon 22; Aslani Gubaton, 33; Robert Villanueva; Christain Aligra, 20, and Rodel del Rosario, 26.
In Makati, Ma. Luzviminda Belo and Ronald Nido were nabbed after they allegedly sold three sachets of shabu to a police officer in a sting in Barangay West Rembo. – Romina Cabrera, Robertzon Ramirez
