Fire hits Cubao condo

MANILA, Philippines — A fire broke out at the storage room of a condominium unit in Cubao, Quezon City early yesterday morning.
Arson probers said the fire started at the storage room on the third floor parking area of the Tower C Manhattan Heights along General Romulo street in Barangay Socorro at around 4:32 a.m.
City fire marshal Senior Superintendent Manuel Manuel said the blaze also engulfed the workers’ barracks.
The fire reached the third alarm before it was put out at past 5:30 a.m.
No one was reported injured in the fire.
Damage to property was placed at P50,000.
Manuel said they have yet to determine the cause of the fire.
