Trainer plane crashes in Pangasinan

MANILA, Philippines — A flight instructor and a student pilot suffered second degree burns after a trainer plane crashed shortly after takeoff from Binalonan airport in Barangay Linmansangan in Pangasinan yesterday morning.

Capt. Bruce Sinaking and Marcus Lim were taken to the Sacred Heart Medical Center and declared out of danger.

The Cessna 152 was severely damaged.

Investigation into the incident is ongoing. – Eva Visperas
