WATCH: Hot Air Balloon Fiesta kicks off with aerobatics

MANILA, Philippines — The 22nd Philippine International Hot Air Balloon Fiesta in Clark, Pampanga kicked off Thursday with aerobatic performances.
 
The festival, which runs from February 8-11, promises "spectacular flying exhibitions and on-the-ground fun to experience friends and family" on its website.
 
Started in 1994 to help the local economy and communities recover from the 1991 Mount Pinatubo eruption, it is now the longest-running sports aviation event in Asia, organizers said.
