2 caught with P1-M weed in Ifugao

BAGUIO CITY, Philippines — Agents of the Philippine Drug Enforcement Agency-Cordillera and Region II, together with local policemen, seized P1 million worth of dried marijuana leaves from two suspected drug couriers at a check point this week in Kiangan, Ifugao.

Carl Adrian Vida Goyena, 33, a resident of Barangay San Miguel, Manila and Marian Nathalie Tagaro Zarate, 32, from Las Piñas City were taken to face illegal drug charges.

They were caught with 5,950 grams of dried marijuana leaves valued at P1 million and P5,000 worth of hashish oil, weighing more or less 20 ml. These were contained in a stainless e-cigarette tube vision spinner and a plastic container. at a checkpoint in Ulo, Hucab, Kiangan
