8 Calabarzon police chiefs replaced for poor performance

CAMP VICENTE LIM, Laguna , Philippines  – Eight more chiefs of police in Calabarzon (Cavite, Laguna, Batangas, Rizal and Quezon) have been removed from their posts for failing to solve shooting incidents and poor performance, an official said yesterday.

Ordered relieved in Batangas were Chief Inspector Patricio Corcha Jr. of the Calaca police, Senior Inspector Jamir Bejasa of Ibaan, Superintendent Meliton Salvadora of San Juan and Senior Inspector Nilo Morallos of Laurel.

Calabarzon police director Chief Superintendent Mao Aplasca said the four officials failed to address the drug problem and shooting incidents in their jurisdictions.

Corcha was replaced by Chief Inspector Jose Naparato, Bejasa by Senior Inspector Ricaredo Dalisay, Salvadora by Superintendent Joemar Labiano and Morallos by Senior Inspector Nepthali Solomon.

In Rizal, Superintendent Ruben Andiso of the Antipolo City police was replaced by Superintendent Reynaldo Rosero, and Senior Inspector Richard Ganalon of Teresa by Senior Inspector Renato Torres.

In Cavite, Superintendents Giovanny Sibalo of Tanza and Rodolfo Hernandez, of Dasmariñas City were replaced by Superintendents Paul Bometivo and Gil Toralba, respectively.
