Cop, 14 others arrested for drugs

CAMP VICENTE LIM, Laguna , Philippines  – A police officer was among 15 men arrested in the Rizal police’s Oplan Galugad, a drive against suspected criminals and those with pending warrants of arrest.

Senior Superintendent Randy Peralta, Rizal provincial police director, said a team was conducting several operations against illegal gambling and illegal drugs in Cainta, Rizal when they apprehended the suspects.

One of them turned out to be Police Officer 2 Robert Muega, who was reportedly caught carrying illegal drugs. Also arrested were Aldrin Cruz for theft, Diosdado de la Cruz for a vehicular offense and Ysmael Bongcarawan for robbery.
