1 dead, 32 hurt in mishaps

MANILA, Philippines - A woman died and 32 others were injured in separate road accidents on Sunday.

Mylene de Vera died while 25 others were injured when their jeepney rammed a concrete fence and fell into a canal in Barangay Amansabina in Sta. Barbara, Pangasinan.

Motocycle driver Armando Talla, 39; tricycle passengers Benjamin Salviejo, 48; his wife Madelyn, 47, and daughter Shiela Mae, 12, were hurt when their vehicles collided in Barangay Bannuar in San Juan, Ilocos Sur. The victims were brought to the Pira Hospital for treatment.  

Gelnes Cabanatan, 22; Jean Rose Buhawi, 15, and Genor Tanuan, 18, were injured when their truck crashed into a roadside culvert along the highway in Barangay Matabao in Buenavista, Agusan del Norte.
