2 drug suspects shot in Pasig

MANILA, Philippines - Two alleged pushers were attacked by unidentified assailants in Pasig City Thursday.

Roberto Alvarez, 21, was reported to be in critical condition at the Amang Rodriguez Memorial Medical Center yesterday.

Police said Alvarez is the third most wanted drug personality in eastern Metro Manila.

Alvarez was in a passenger jeepney along Marcos Highway when he was shot by two motorcycle-riding men at around 1 p.m.

Meanwhile, Lambert Leberio, 36, was shot dead by two motorcycle-riding assailants as he was reportedly waiting for clients in front of a store along Eastbank Road at around 4:30 p.m.
