3 more drug suspects slain

MANILA, Philippines - Three more drug suspects were killed on Friday.

Two were slain in a reported shootout with police during a sting in Sitio Tubod, Barangay Poblacion in Kalawit, Zamboanga del Norte.

Chief Superintendent Billy Beltran, Zamboanga peninsula police director, identified the fatalities as Luie Bacolod and Ricardo Sidlao Jr., both on the drug watchlist of the Kalawit police. 

Beltran said the suspects opened fire when they sensed that they were dealing with undercover agents.

In Isabela, motorcycle-riding men gunned down the seventh most wanted drug personality in Cauayan City. ?

Dave John Angala, 21, was walking along airport road  in Barangay San Fermin when he was shot, said Superintendent Engelbert Soriano, Cauayan City police chief.

Probers recovered seven bullet shells for a .45-caliber pistol at the scene.

Meanwhile, the Central Luzon police reported that 102 drug personalities, including two police officers, have been killed in anti-drug operations and 32 slain by unidentified men in Bulacan since July 1.
