TUGUEGARAO CITY, Philippines – Parts of Isabela and Ifugao will experience a 16-hour blackout tomorrow.
The power outage from 8 a.m. till midnight will affect the areas being serviced by the Isabela Electric Cooperative 1 in Cauayan City and the towns of Alicia and Cabatuan as well as the town of Alfonso Lista in Ifugao, said Lilibeth Gaydowen, National Grid Corp. of the Philippines-Northern Luzon spokesperson.
The power interruption will pave the way for the commissioning and energization the 100-megavolt ampere transformer at the Santiago substation.
