2 dead in Sorsogon road mishap

LEGAZPI CITY, Philippines – A woman and her daughter died in a road accident in Sorsogon on Wednesday night.

Mary Grace Callos, 29, and her daughter Yanyan, along with her two other children were in a Honda Civic (UUE 787) being driven by Ryan Delgado when he lost control of the wheel and rammed a mango tree, said Senior Inspector Malou Calubaquib, spokesperson for the Bicol police.

Calubaquib said the incident occurred in Barangay Casili in Gubat town around 7 p.m.

Mary Grace and Yanyan were pronounced dead on arrival in a hospital.
